The Mediator II (2021 A.D.)
Left and right. Blue and red. The mammoth and the mule. Black and white. Right and wrong. Just and unjust. The have's and the have not's. The rich and the poor. The accomplished and the short comers. These are the core concepts that we as a society use to fuel our ambitions and beliefs.
In order for one to thrive and survive in the 2020's, one must form a mandate as it regards to the whereabouts of mediating one's life. As individuals we have a God-given right to make our own decisions and look within ourselves to seek guidance. One of our major problems is that we spend more time worrying about what bill a politician voted for or what a well-known celebrities whereabouts are that we lose sight over our own needs. I know that saying this is hurting the culture's feelings, but it has to be said eventually. Where men fail God fulfils.
Consumption is a part of our daily routine(s). When I use the term consumption I'm going beyond the digesting of solid foods and liquids. What you watch is a form of consumption. What you listen to is a form of consumption. What you discuss while in dialogue is a form of consumption. What you allow yourself to entertain is a form of consumption. Think of it as a diet/or a regimen. If you ingest gossip, ignorance, buffoonery, and foolishness you'll be out of shape and your body will reek the after effects. On the other hand, if you speak constructive elements into your existence such as positivity, knowledge, wisdom, and kindness than your body will be strong and in tip-top condition. Choices can either lock you down or set you free.
Trying to make a living in a world controlled by name brands can make the most collective mind go crazy. We are at a point now where individuality and uniqueness is seen as awkward and labeled a plague. It's as if people are afraid to be who they truly are in order to receive symbolic promotions. I bet that there is a man right now that lives in his car and has a pet dog as his companion. Driving from state to state, home is where his head rest. Life may not be a piece of cake for the man, but he is thankful everyday that he has breath in his lungs. Doing tricks on his skateboard or passing down wisdom to those of generations after bring joy to his existence. Men and women of this caliber are shinning examples of what humility and self-worth is in the flesh.
If a person doesn't want to go to college it doesn't mean that he/or she is destined for failure. The same can be said regarding the investing in one's craft. Whether it be painting, drawing, or writing do it like it's the last thing on earth. Partake in the craft like it's the only thing you love and know. The same way you put time in going on social media or talking to friends, put that same time into your craft. A good craft that can be turned into a trade can give a person more of an identity than a pair of sneakers or name brand clothing. Once we go back to this than maybe we will have less worries on our plates.
Standing together in unity we must form a mighty fist of steel. The objective of this fist is to destroy and dismantle anything that is of no benefit. Sharp and well polished this fist is a trailblazer and a threat to blasphemy and lies. Gossip and rumors shrink at the sight of this fist height. Although this is nothing but an analogy, the powers that be tremble in their boots at this very idea. No matter what the protest/or boycott is we should be in one accord (if the cause is a good one). Doing this our gifts are guaranteed to be displayed. Being of good service to each other knowledge, power, harmony, and everlasting joy shall become the rule of the day. To actually have a peace of mind and not just try to find one will be a goal that can be accomplished.
